In the year 2007, I have created this Short Film as part of the Cobbler’s Workshop Production. Cobbler’s Workshop is a production company owned by Senthil, Udhaya, Muthu Murugan & Me. Since I have made this short in High Definition Format, I couldn’t upload it into the ‘You Tube’. Now Youtube accepts High Def Videos as well.
Just nominated to some film festivals but as expected failed in all the festivals due to the amateur attempt. Even then it gave me nice opportunity to handle various aspects of film making. I would like to thank all my friends & my then room mates Balu & Ashish for their support.
Note: The narration is by our college mate Mr.ARUN ARUMUGAM and he made a guest appearance as well. So all Arun fans here you go

Really superb!! 1000 times better than the one which we attempted earlier. The message conveyance, mixing’s, background music & voice and some of the creativities are good. The limitations should be not much actions and the emphasize has been on the mixing and editing alone. Even the final part, in which you have shown, the IT people of India was not up to the mark. Overall a very good attempt, does not look like an amateur work. ( Intha ponnungala ellam enga pidichinga, I noticed a girl wearing my previous company’s T-shirt

Thanks for ur keen observations..
Almost all the drawbacks u hv mentioned were same as pointed out by Udhaya & Surrutai that time. The final 2 minutes, even I was not satisfied & I have hurried up for no reason.
That girl is now Arun’s wife. That time they were working in ur ex-company Patni.

Initially for a moment, I thought why the hell Arun is kissing white man’s as*. But the sudden change in the context was suberp. But I felt like our college times, nalla ethi vittu appuram nalla kullikulla thalara mathuri errunthuchu.
Was a good documentary though. Though I didnt buy the last part, that Indians are infiltrating the world through IT. My opinion is, the only reason we are around in this business is because we are cheap labor and nothing more about it.

Positives: Arun’s voice and narration was good.Editing and music were also good.
Other than that the concept was filled with cliches.Lacked any new insight.Ending was like a Mani Ratnam movie with a message.(Intha payyanuku enna theriyum,intha papavuku enna theriyum

Arun never liked to praise them.
I accept last part sothapalled by me. Manjal kannadi pottavanuku ulagamey manjala theriyura mathiri, IT iruka enakku ulagamey IT vachu than develop aguthu-nu oru ariyamai.
But Indians are no longer cheaper. So many other countries are ready with cheaper IT work force now !
