New Feature : T4D – By RJP

I don’t know how it all started. Sankarlal started sending T4D some 4 years back. For the first one week I was just reading. Then after getting indication that Sankarlal is ready to send daily the perennial list of quotes, I have started forwarding to my circle of colleagues & other friends [other than our common friends]. He was sending with at most dedication & sincerity such that you could conclude he didn’t come to office if there’s no T4D from him that day. It became his way of saying ‘I came to office & am doing great’. When I was working in a Central Government job, his holidays were different then mine. So when he was on vacation/holiday, I used to send some quote just for the sake of sending, to avoid my circle of friends from asking whether I had reached the office and everything is fine from my end.

Over these 4 years these quotes were helping me to shape my thought pattern in many ways. I am not exaggerating. There were some thoughts which gave me the much needed insight, motivation, comfort, hope, clarity in soothing words. Some thoughts I have kept deep inside my heart so as to share with someone who is in need of those motivating words. The impact is priceless. Sometimes shocked by that thought’s striking nature, I used to start reading about that particular author, his life, works, his impact on mankind, his predecessors, followers,….. lost in that world in an attempt to gain their wisdom with my evergrowing amateur mind.

Once I have read a Churchill’s quote on quotes “If you don’t have time to read biographies of great people, atleast read their quotes”.

There’s a old saying : “Change your thought, change your world”. Now Sankarlal is ready to change the thought everyday in this new feature of aliens of nec. Please be ready to change your world.
